As it goes the human brain generates electromagnetic waves to function. These electrical impulses not only stimulate bodily functions but also cognitive functions as well. "Consciousness arises from a dynamic electromagnetic field that reflects synaptic and discharge currents of neurons throughout the brain" (Kohler and Held, 1949; Jones, 2013). What this means, to break it down simpler, is that the electrical impulses of the brain are constantly in a state of activeness to keep functions going from innate ones like breathing and walking to focused ones like playing a sport or working a job. That being the case, what is the effect of constant stimulation to the brain?
